• One side of the world permanently faces towards the star and one side permanently faces away.
• In the narrow region between permanent night and permanent day, the primary star eternally hangs on the horizon.

The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.

• It lies within the zones prime H region.
• It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.

• The world orbits inside the stars Jump Shadow.

Mainworld Size (S)

Ea Sailua is a Small World between 900km and 2,400km in diameter. The world has very low gravity between 0.05G and 0.09G. The horizon will appear about 2km away.

Ea Sailua has a pressure of less than 0.001 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Ea Sailua has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.

Ea Sailua is a frontier, a wild and lonely place that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within it have never had an intelligent being visit them.

• Information about the system is limited.
• The resources of the system are largely untapped.

The world has been claimed (but not yet settled) by Ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.

• Settlement within the region has been sporadic, largely occurring between the year 1000 and the 1060s.
• Almost all of the settled worlds are independent and non-aligned, and through necessity are largely self-sufficient.

The system is unpopulated.

• Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
• Commo only picks up natural background noise and static.
• There are no active navigation beacons.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.
